Dermot OBrien is an entrepreneur, luxury real estate advisor, and business strategist with more than 40 years of experience spanning real estate sales, advertising, marketing, management consulting, and new business development. Since 2004, he has specialized in luxury oceanfront condominium sales on Singer Island, Florida, where he has closed more than $350 million in sales across 325 transactions and counting. Widely recognized for his market knowledge, discretion, and relationship-driven approach, Dermot has represented buyers and sellers in many of the island’s most significant luxury condominium transactions.

Before building his real estate career in Florida, Dermot worked in advertising with Collett Dickenson Pearce in London, consumer marketing with Unilever in Connecticut, and management consulting in Dublin, Ireland. He has also founded and developed several businesses, including the award-winning Celtic.com Irish web portal, the Splycer app, and the Novelfax personal organizer line, and owns an extensive collection of important Irish-interest domain names. Dermot holds an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University, an Honors BA from University College Dublin, and diplomas in Marketing and Digital Marketing. He is currently pursuing a Diploma in Celtic Mythology, reflecting his continuing interest in creativity, culture, and lifelong learning.
