Florida for 2013-2014 by the Americas Property Awards. The competition is sponsored by Virgin Atlantic and Yamaha in an international
arena for which Islands Realty (www.dermot.com) competed against a number of real estate professionals throughout Florida and the U.S., in addition to Canada, South and Central America and the Caribbean. Islands Realty received a ‘five star distinction’, which is only awarded to one winner per category from each region.

The awards ceremony was held Friday, December 6th at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London. The judging panel consisted of approximately 70 professionals in various sectors of the property industry, including Andrew Panting, Director of Operations for the British Property Federation and Peter Bolton King Global Residential Director of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors in Britain.
