RIVIERA BEACH — Road beautification work is about to begin along State Road A1A.
New landscaping, sidewalks, decorative street lights, benches and median planters are among the improvements planned along an L-shaped section of A1A from Broadway east across the Blue Heron Bridge and north to Burnt Bridge on Singer Island.
Work is expected to begin in July and continue for about bad credit loans sort of depends on the specific scenario we’re discussing – be it the transaction, the institutional arrangements of the monetary system in which we’re operating, etc. 18 months.
The city council Wednesday approved a $10.3 million contract with H&J Contracting of Wellington to do the work. The council also approved a $921,742 contract with Miami-based Target Engineering Group to provide construction engineering and inspection services.
Most of the cost of the project will be covered by the Florida Department of Transportation and a $3.5 million federal stimulus grant.
The city”s Utility District will pay $809,284 for replacement and relocation of water and sewer lines.
