We are now just a few months away from 2016, and the real estate market in Singer Island has shown the makings of a promising year to come. No matter if you are a buyer or seller, you should know that 2016 may just be the best year to buy or list your property or condominium on Singer Island.
So, Why Is 2016 Going to Be Even Better Than 2015?
To start off, there has been all kinds of progress being made at Singer Island. Aside from initiating infrastructure improvements, there are also up-and-coming developments.
One such development is Riviera Beach Marina’s new 50,000-square-foot public market. The public market is slated to include stands for local produce and fresh-out-of-the-Atlantic fish, allowing local farmers and fishermen to sell directly to the public — so residents will be able to experience first-hand one of the most successful agricultural counties in Florida in the most authentic way possible. The $375 million Riviera Beach Marina project, which is already underway, will feature restaurants, shopping, boat slips and a boardwalk promenade.
In a press release, Tony Brown, executive director of the Riviera Beach CRA, said, “The Public Market at the Riviera Beach Marina will be a remarkably convenient opportunity for residents, neighbors and visitors to get the best fresh food in Florida, wrapped in the appeal of the waterfront location, marina experience and other retail and restaurant enticements.” What’s more, he says the project will “provide jobs for our residents, and opportunities for small business owners and entrepreneurs.” A healthy local economy means a healthy real estate market, so expect property values (and demand) to increase.
The Future of Singer Island
Life on Singer Island is looking better by the day: Mortgage rates are still sitting low, and consumers are becoming increasingly confident with buying and selling. Over the last few years, these sellers and buyers have been listing and purchasing luxurious, high-end properties in South Florida, especially on Singer Island. Though it may seem unthinkable, we promise it’s only getting better from here.
